...rest assured, this list only scratches the surface, culled from the slimy-dreck bowels of the grindhouse/exploitation genre (I'm feelin' pretty damn filthy just listing this lot; now where's my DVD player and remote control?); however, this should be well enough to keep you busy for a while!!!

...oh, and my complements for mentioning the most dynamic and phenomenal film "Vanishing Point" (don't bother with that rediculous recent remake with Viggo Mortensen); tthough it is a fine example of the action/exploitation/motorhead genre, it was much more closer to a drive-in theatre type film, rather than a grindhouse type film...although it DID play the grindhouse circuit!!!

...oh, and I have also included a webpage from the Fangoria site, denoting the recent grindhouse film festival presented by director Quentin Tarantino, and listing many films that inspired him and director Robert Rodriguez in doing the recent film, "Grindhouse"; what better information could you possibly get, than from Tarantino himself???

Most of those movies are plain horror movies...not explotation films aka grindhouse films.

Cleopatra Jones,Foxy Brown,Truck Turner,Blacula,Shaft are examples of Grindhouse films.or Blac-plotation films.

Any Troma film is considered Grindhouse material.
