Such controversy...5 people said the gut should be trusted; 5 people said it is against better judgement.
Going with the gut:
Instinct: 7
Intuition: 5
Emotion: 4
Logic: 2
Hunger: 1

For me it is about instinct, one so strong that it affects me spiritually, mentally, and physically. For me it is God's way of telling me I need to be doing something, but to take God out of the equation for those that don't agree with my beliefs, it boils down to a feeling that paralyzes me until I am no longer able to ignore it. I am usually right about things eventually when I go with my instinctual, or "gut" feeling.

I am older than you so I can answer this one with experience. I have had a few jobs where I knew there wasn't much of a future, I could sense the failure or lack of adventure. It is like when you meet somebody and they turn you off completely, their flaws are magnified because you dislike like that type of person. For me it would be stone-cold emotionless people that insult the people around them because of insecurities about themselves. It is true, you can tell a lot about a person from your first acquaintance.

Everyone has a "natural instinct" when it comes to decision making. When someone says they are going with their gut they mean they are going to choose the first thing that comes to mind.

I beleive that there is a higher part to our being, which is aware of everything and is constantly longing for us to communicate with it. It knows the answers, it is trying to get us to remember. You can call it instinct, a higher intelligence, God, Higher self. But by listening to it, you are getting in touch with it, and it is leading you toward your self awareness, and ultimately toward the discovery of your purpose for existance.

that means just going with the feeling . not so much logic or study but instead just say OK i feel this is what to do . so i am going with my gut reaction and doing this now.

Others know what better their intake should be,
thus keeping the Global Expansion from altering
the planet's orbit.

Well when i go wth my gut I get this really sure feeling in me andf I know that it is coming from my mind and my body. It hasn`t failed me once.

It means they are going with their instincts. They have a strong feeling about something, and they rely on that feeling.
