No, it's not true that it is harder to get pregnant after using the Nuvaring.
Some women may take a few months to return to their regular cycling. But in some women, withdrawal from the hormones can actually stimulate ovulation, earlier in the cycle than expected. Some women will ovulate very soon after that week off.
It is pretty much out of your system after 33 days (so there's a little leeway, but not a whole week). You are protected after 7 days on the Nuvarring when using it for the first time, or when there is a break beyond the recommended week off.

The condom mishap was on day 6 of the new one, so technically you weren't on it quite long enough to be sure of protection. I'd say it's just a small chance, though.
If this just happened, you could take Plan B.

Keep the Nuvaring in, it won't hurt anything. Do a pregnancy test 2 or 3 weeks after the accident for reassurance.

You have less likely of a chance to get pregnant since you've been on it for so long but I wouldn't rule it out. Your body is used to having the hormones on a regular basis and skipping a week could mess with them. Get a pregnancy test and use it a few times in the next few weeks.

The doctor told me every time I take it out to use a condom for at least the first week.

Hope that helped

No sorry. Nuvaring is full of purely adequate hormones to maintain you danger-free for the month. it is going to positioned on off and also you'll basically commence you era as wide-spread - you also run the chance of dropping the birth control outcomes for as a lot as a month after doing that.

Most likely not. But wait 3 days and take the test.

there is a chance they say to put it back in and continue to wear it but they also say that the hormones stay in there for a while
