If your going to have four playing simultaneously get the fastest connection you can afford. I recommend a connection 3 megabits or faster for smooth game play. You will need a router and four ethernet cables to run all four to run at the same time. It is also worth mentioning that a wired connection is faster and more secure than a wireless connection.

I can only speak for myself here but in my house, we regularly have four instances of WoW playing and experience no slowdown on service. Now, we don't have any bittorrents or background processes running either. Recently, we had a group of 15 here for a guild gathering. We had about 10 people going at once, all in one dungeon with thier alts and we ran fine. Currently I am on a 3mb DSL line. DSL doesn't use a shared connection like cable does though. Do you have alot of people in the neighborhood using cable? If you have alot in your neighborhood on at once time, in theory it can slow down your connection.
