I am a married man, but I find myself lusting after other women. I'm sure other men have this same problem. I want to be faithful to my wife, what do others do to fight the urge to lust?

The culture my grandmother grew up in....it was very WRONG for a married woman to prance around in the wrong attire.

I see a certain wisdom in that. I think we've so "sophisicated" ourselves we've lost that wisdom.

And you're not alone. When so many women's fashions seek to make a whore out of the person who's wearing the fashions, it gives a very strong FALSE signal to observers whether they are men or women.

It takes a lot of struggle and personal strength to resist the temptresses that exist in society today, even if it's just the state of feminine fashion that makes them seem as though they are temptresses.

Resist. That's all I can say. Resist. Don't beat yourself up because of it - it's purely cultural because we live in a corrupt sick culture that values apathy, lust and appetites above so many better and more wholesome virtues.

Be the change you seek. Good luck and peace...

Focus on her. Think about her in every little minute detail of what attracts you to her and every intimate way. Communicate to her a lot about these things in the love language she prefers. Also learn to appreciate and enjoy seeing the physical beauty in other women, without taking the next mental step into the lust thing. Simply enjoying someone else's visual impact is not necessarily lust.

I find more satisfaction in other areas for my mind to focus on and the things I do to achieve that satisfaction get my wife's approval. I seek fulfillment, and it's an exploration. It doesn't magically remove lust, just makes it much more bearable because I focus on other stuff instead. Stuff like work, faith, doing things that keep the boredom at bay so the mind doesn't wander off into places I'd rather it not go.

Your wife has been cheating on you for sometime now what are you going to do .Do you leave her or can you stay and put it out of your mind.Just imagine your wife in bed with another man,no clothes on feeling each other up.Sneaking off every chance she gets to meet this guy for sex.How does that feel
if your wife really did do that to you.How did you feel just reading that about your wife. You better think long and hard before you do something so stupid that will mess your life up forever. Is a cheap thrill really worth giving everything up for.

Well, first you have to keep yourself away from situations and people that feed your urge for lust. This is difficult but, if you really love your wife, it will be worth the effort, for both your sakes.

Men are by nature visual creatures. You are supposed to bring every thought into captivity. It makes it harder and harder with women dressing so immodestly. It is natural that your thoughts will stray but if you immediately bring them into captivity you are doing the right thing. The only other thing you can do is pray and ask God to help you have a revelation. When a woman put her body on display she is betraying herself and tramping herself. Ask God you help you not find other women titillating and stir up the thoughts you have toward your wife. Also, never keep company with another woman by yourselves. You don't want to give the devil and your flesh a foothold. You can't sin or fall into adultery if you aren't' alone with another woman.

Just remember the grass is not greener on the other side. Those other bodies come with emotions, problems, insecurity, jealousy, and love to contact the wife! Love your wife more when you get the urge to look at or be with another woman.

If you want to be faithful, then do so. I am married but some men look good. I am married not blind. It is just a limit on how far it goes. All temptation is not bad, if you don't give in to it. Just think about the firey pits off hell, and that may cool you down enough to rethink your actions.

i think a lot of men look at other women. But not all act on it. If you love your wife you better go talk with her and try to get the flame going with her. Ask her to text you some hot messages, or meet her at a bar and act like you two don't know each other, but get to know each other. Get back into being into your wife and some of that will die down.

Fulfill yourself sexually by yourself.

Have wild unabandoned sex with your wife. I'm sure she'll light your fire.

Whatever you do, DO NOT take action on your lust... it's only lust and not worth a marriage. Think about your wife.
