Two part Q:

I just bought the car and i cant seem to find a parts catalog anywhere online for it. I would like to restore it but everything i find just skips the late 70's and 80's.

The other thing is it has the bent glass window in the back. I know its rare but how rare?

I allready have all the manuals. I just need to find restoration parts. It just needs some interior work and new paint. Its a solid car. Not bad for 300 bucks.

Something like an LMC Truck catalog. I dont need the rear window. Its in good shape, I was just curious if it added a little extra value astheticly to the car.

The reason you can't find parts catalogs for it is that most late 70's, early/mid 80's cars have never become popular for resto projects. The Caprice was a nice car, but not a collector car, at least not yet. Good luck with the project, you may have to look around for donor cars. They're still out there.

The glass should be available new. but don't wait for that till later. and go to a swap meet to find a service manual. you are in luck though as this car is not hard to work on. everything is very familiar. if you know how to work on small block chevys they are the most unfamiliar part. like do u know how to install a fuel pump? there's a secret to it.

for the manual try a internet search on haynes manuals or try the old chilton manuals both should have what you are looking for check jc whitney on the internet as to the bent back window I think all the 70's models had them my grandfather had a 74 with that window great car do the best you can with it.Check your local junk yards for parts if you need them alot of people usta do alot of parting in that kind of car verry roomy

Swap meets or hemmings.com for the manual, bent backglass was the design of that model to make it look different.
Fuel pump trick is to put cold grease on the push rod to hold it in place while you install the pump...done it many times.
