My hair is jet black and It is a little past shoulder length. I have hazel eyes. I am a black woman, but my skin is about the complexion of my avatar. My hair is thick and naturally wavy.

I have gotten into a "lazy" groove. When I go to work, I wear it up. When I come home, I put it in a ponytail. When I go to church and out to eat, I wear it up. My makeup is sparingly to say the least. I wear a little mascara and lip gloss. My style of dress was chic at all times. Now it is chic at the office and jeans and sweats all other times.

I want to look ultra sexy without being sleezy. I have thought about buying some color contacts also. What do you think?

Leave those eyes alone, you sound absolutely beautiful why go twitchin this and twangin that. SOMEONE must have found you attractive, you're pregnant aren't you. If it works . . . DON'T FIX IT

I'm black and I have naturally curly/wavy hair and when I'm tired of seeing it in it's "natural" state, I wash it, put some Tigi Curls rock leave-in moisturizer (while my hair is still wet, but not dripping wet), then I roll my hair with big rollers (about 3 in.). I usually do it at night, so all I have to do the next morning is take the rollers out and do a little "fluffing" then I'm ready to go. If you want to wear it the same day you roll it, you'll have to sit under a dryer. If you do decide to roll it the night before and sleep on it, use one of those night caps from a beauty supply (the ones with satin on one side and and mesh on the other). Make sure the satin side is against your hair. The full cap never covers my head completely because my hair is really thick and the rollers are big. So just make sure it's covering the back and most of the sides. I would also suggest using one of those orthopedic pillows for sleeping (it makes the rollers so much more comfortable to lay on).

Makeup is always fun to play with! Please don't use colored contacts! Let you beautiful eyes ALONE! You can always find eyeshadow colors that compliment hazel eyes beautifully. If you're going out at night, do a dark eyeshadow, a dramatic mascara (with lots of volume and length, even a couple false lashes if you REALLY want to go all out) and a soft lip color. For day, try a softer eye (just mascara and an eyeshadow complimentary to your skin tone) and a lipcolor that really makes you lips pop (depending on the color outfit you're wearing).

And as far as your wardrobe, since it's summer time, flirty sundresses, boy shorts, babydoll tops, and espadrilles are in! Bright colors are always great for warm whether and they really help to brighten your look. For "dressier" ocassions, try bold colored wrap dresses in hot red or black, with a lace shawl with fringe and some strappy sandals. Or even a bold, floral printed wrap dress. For business attire, a pencil skirt with a puff sleeved blouse and large belt, or pencil skirt with a soft camisole and a long cardigan (add a skinny belt to pull the look together). And to add a little "flirt" to your business attire, slip on some printed pantyhose! (I love Wolfe). Also a shirt dress with a wide belt would be great for the office as well. Well that's just about all I can think of...hope I was of some help!

I think the 'Jeans and sweats' are a little off-putting If you want to look ultra sexy. But having said that, it's when your 'out on the town' you wish to look real sexy, so I'd suggest a brand new hairstyle! There is nothing like a new hairdo to make you feel a different woman, and definitely sexier! Something lighter to compliment your skin tone, and a nice white figure hugging simple dress, don't go too heavy on the accessory's what I mean by that is try silver not gold, as gold is too 'heavy' with white. You'll look stunning! Have a great day.

If you have hazel eyes, I can't imagine that contacts would make them look better. Hazel eyes are beautiful. Since you can not get chemical treatments, how about getting some braids, or even a hair cut, just to give you a new look? The right stylist can do wonderful things for you, and you can use a flat iron for those times you want to "dress up" and get the straight look without chemicals. You have a lot of options, you just need to find a stylist who can help you decide. Good luck to you and congrats on your baby!!

I think it's because you are pregnant that you're wanting a change. I know I did. I changed makeups, I changed hair styles lol anything for a change. I wanted to look sexy and felt frumpy.

Try some big clunky gold colored earrings and that alone will make you feel good. (according to my best friend - who just happens to be black)

Nothing wrong with being comfortable at home - but if you want to break that habit then you are the only one that can do that - so.... do it for you.

Best of luck :)

I think you should go spend the day at the spa, get you a basic manicure or pedicure (since you are pregnant). Have you hair cut a different way, if it is all one length have a few layers put in it to change it up a little. Get a facial done, those are wonderful!!! Go get pampered, you will feel better about yourself! :)

considering your hair is black, you cant really do anything with it except give it some red or blue lowlights. as for makeup you can go get a MAC makeover at Nordstrom and ask for a light casual look, then just buy those products.

nay color contacts would look weird - i still have a free pair from 3 years ago. what about cutting your hair short and make it spiky... and wear more dresses instead of sweats and jeans
