1. DISCONNECT THE BATTERY NEGATIVE SIDE.
2. RAISE VEHICLE.
3. REMOVE BOTH WIRE HARNESS CONNECTORS, ONE FOR BATTERY FEED AND THE OTHER FOR POSI-LOCK.
4. REMOVE STARTER HEAT SHIELD.
5. REMOVE THREE STARTER ATTACHING BOLTS.
6. ROTATE THE STARTER SOLENOID TOWARD THE ENGINE BLOCK AND SLIDE REAR OF STARTER MOTOR OUT BETWEEN CATALYST AND ENGINE MOUNT.
7. REMOVE THE STARTER FROM THE VEHICLE.

REMEMBER THAT YOU HAVE THE WORST ENGINE EVER BUILT BY CHRYSLER THE 2.7 AND THIS ENGINE EVEN WITH ALL THE MAINTENANCE PREFORMED WILL MOST LIKELY LOCKUP.

HOPE THAT THIS HELPS.
