Finance, definately. Economics has a lot of overlap classes with finance, so its easy to pick up a double major too.

You are on the right path.....may try a minor in economics with a major in finance, after all those have the most direct correlation with your future goal. When you get to college(or if you are already there) talk to one of the business school counselors for advice and guidance..thats what they are there for.

99.9% of the time the broker is not the one making the analyst decisions. While a strong economics and finance background is preferred, most big house investment firms are hiring alot of professionl sale sor marketing majors as well.

Definitely Finance and Accounting. However, knowing economics, statstics and law will definitely prepare you to be more than just a stockbroker.
Eventually, you aim to get into management and become an executive/leader, no matter what field you choose.

ideally Finance. but really most brokers didn't major in finance. they'll take anyone who shows a genuine interest in the markets, a willingness to take the series 7 and 63 exams, and most important, the ability to sell sell sell! probably 75% of your brokers out there majored in things like sociology, psychology, etc etc... most people w/afinance degree go on to jobs like the girl who mentioned IBanking or other corporate finance jobs, etc.
