If Bill Gates or someone of the equivilant earns something like $100,000,000; then how is this spent.

These companies have had a monoploy on other companies and they argue that they have a right to make more money.
But intrests isn't if they have a right to make more money, but what could they possibily spend all that money on to argue about having such a right.

It is not just a case of bring greedy, they still have to want that money to spend of something; but what?
I do not see the piont of someone being greedy to own that amount of money since it is unspendable, it is simply just too much; not that I would be greedy and do this of course.

What does Bill Gates spend his zillion dollar on; what would anyone that is a billionaire spend a billion dollars on?

This I really need to know?

First, you are confused about wealth. Aside from a few tycoons, very few people have a billion bucks sitting the in bank. It's called 'paper wealth'. They are worth that much, in theory, from their stock holdings. In reality, they could never cash in the entire amount because the value would sink pretty hard. If the stock were ever to tank, they could end up being relatively pennyless. As such, they will only tend to cash out a little at a time.

For their actual cash assets, they diversify their portfolios by buying interests in holdings other than their core. For Bill Gates, this would include buying real estate across the world, or investing in texttile firms, for example. This allows their wealth to perpetuate forever such that the proceeds can be given to their heirs, foundations, etc.

Mostly he spends it on having lunch with politicians to try to convince them to keep it illegal for you to come take it away from him, and on bodyguards to stomp a mudhole in you if you try.
