Absolutely. I don't even know why entertainment "news" is considered news. If I never heard another word about Paris, Anna Nicole, BenLo, TomKat, Bradgelina, Bennifer, or anybody else famous for being famous or marrying a famous person then having or adopting a kid with a stupid name, I would be just fine. And as a plus, I might actually learn about something important going on in our world.

Absolutely. We had a radio station that only reported news 24-hours. There's no law that says I have to listen to it 24-hours a day but when I wanted to catch up... I knew where to go.
TV would be the same. Many times I have the television on for background while I'm doing something. Don't have to watch it... but I can listen to the news.

Yes, absolutely. The media needs to stop caring about ratings and start caring about people in Africa. There is news happening all around the world, such as genocides in Africa, persecution in China, and other horrible incidents that happen everyday that the media doesn't report.

It is sad that the media clogs up the news with mindless dribble like Paris Hilton and Sylvester Stallone getting arrested. It is sad that our media cares more about Hollywood celebrities than starving people who need help or those who are being persecuted in China for their religious beliefs.

Not liberal bias mainstream media - where propaganda spews 24hours a day seven days a week ..because journalists fear for their jobs if they don't get with the program .
It's all brainwashing ..NO thanks .I'm so sick of the mainstream media these days - I approach a newspaper as though it was made of dirty socks . And I spend about as much time with it - as I would with dirty socks .
