It's the National Honor Society for theatre. I'm pleabing (process of becoming a thespian) and I want to know what are the benefits?

Well first of all, you join a famous group of former thespians, for example, Madonna, Sharon Stone, and Tom Hanks. This also looks amazing on college resumes, and they give out scholarships. On top of that you can get honor chords for enough work in the theater. Im a thespian and i love it! Congrats and continue w/ theater.

The only benefit I know of is that your teacher will likely look at you more favorably. The downside is that you've poured so much of your free time into it only to realize later that it didn't do anything for you. On the other hand, if it's a letter you want on your HS jacket or a designation you want in you yearboook or on your diploma, then congratulations!
