anyone hear of a new star or something?

my brother asked me to see about it. I have no idea what he is talking about and any information will be helpful.
where would i find out about it does anyone know of a site i can go to to find anything on this?

There have been a number of recent observations including a cluster that looked rectangular.

You can find a lot on the science section of Yahoo News. I find www.space.com very good. There site specifically for astronomy is, http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/

NASA also has good sites where you can find many photos and some videos taken on Mars. They've recently found proof Mars had oceans.
