I think the interest was before the famous radio interview. I think the Angels will take a wait and see approach to how MLB decides to handle the situation, the Yankees are looking to void the remaining part of his contract. If he avoids suspension and the Yankees are able to walk away from the deal the Angels likely would be frontrunners to get a deal....if he avoids trouble altogether then the odds of him getting dealt for next to nothing in return are pretty high, the Angels clearly need a power bat and seem willing to take on even someone like Giambi and the big contract.

Why would the Angels want Giambi? Isn't that what they're trying to get away from? An aging power hitter on the downside? If I'm the Halos I make a run at Adam Dunn after the Reds fall out of it in the Central. Perfect DH.

i think of Giambi is nice, and commerce for Buehrle is a honest commerce. for people who've doubts, Giambi hit 32 HRs in 417 at-bats final season, and he hits much greater advantageous this season. He ought to surely hit 40 HR and one hundred twenty RBI this season. are you able to get somebody greater advantageous than Buehrle? i do no longer think of so. you could try somebody who isn't doing nicely or has been in DL (like Colon, earlier), regardless of the shown fact that this is tough to locate a perfect pitcther in an particularly good team.

HE may. names like Chone figgins and jose molina in return for giambi are of talk but i think that is a ridiculous trade since he probably has more homeruns than they do combined (0) and as many rbi.

I hope so; but only if we get Vlad in return. Love the yanks, but hes getting paid too much not to be a position player. Yanks need a bat too. Vlad is the man!

no, his contract is to big, and the yanks need his bat, so at the moment i can't see this trade happening unless its near the trade deadline and the yanks are out of it and just trade him for prospects.

i don't think so, his contract is huge and i don't think the angels can afford to sacrifice the pitching the yankees will surely ask for in return...plus, he doesn't fit in at all with the type of team the angels want to be, which is a team that puts the baseball in play and is aggressive on the basepaths, and i'm not sure the yankees would want to deal him to a team they will have to compete with in the american league

Most people say why would he do that, the Halos don't want him?
They asked for him. I think it will happen after his contract is over.

HE'S GOING GOING BACK BACK TO CALI CALI. ANGELS ARE DESPERATLEY LOOKING FOR A BIG BAT. WHATS GONNA BE INTERESTING IS TO SEE WHO WE GET FOR HIM. ANOTHER THING IS HE'S DUE 40 MIL FOR THE NEXT TWO YEARS. WE MAY HAVE TO PAY SOME OF IT BUT SO WHAT. THEY CAN KEEP HIM. I HOPE WE GET FIGGINS.
