No, really, if the female was or is kept in a tank with male Swordtails, she is most likely pregnant.

**If you want the babies to survive, you might want to make sure you have floating plants, like water sprite in your tank. Not only do the plants provide protection from being eaten by the larger fish in the tank, the plants (when healthy) provide teensy little critters for the babie fish (fry) to eat. If you would rather buy commercially prepared fry food, that is available in most larger pet store departments.

If she has a really big belly and no scales sticking out from her body then I would say she most likely is pregnant. Lighter colored fish will also have a dark spot behind the belly called the gravid spot. Here's a pic of a pregnant female swordtail that has botht he big belly and the gravid spot:
