Kids are gonna eat them anyway. What about flavored paper or paste? I can remember more than a few of those kids back in school.

As a mother I must say "NO",
but
as someone with an offbeat sense of humor lets look at the possibilities......Never again would I have to scream at my child to finish his snack.....Some crayons, markers and glue already are scented and smell yummy enough to eat, what would a little flavor hurt.....Potty training would be much simpler if the child could look at all the pretty colors afterward....You could sneak all their vitamins and minerals in and not have to fight your child ever again to take it because it is "good for" them.....

I just realized how to solve all problems! Make them a broccoli/liver/asparagus/spinach/onion combo flavor. Then they would be flavored and not many if any children will ever again eat their crayons!

Now help me solve the problem of my dog eating them and leaving multicolored "gifts" all over my yard and that is a product I would buy in a heartbeat.....

Peace.

No, that'll just make kids want to eat them. Which they'll eat other Crayons that are not from the Crayola factory and might get sick. Now, we dont want that to happen, do we? lol

At one time Crayola did make some crayons were scented to match their names. They stopped doing this, for just the reason you mention.

I know seriously right. when i was little i thought the blue glue would taste good, like blue raspberry, imagine my disappointment when it wasn't good at all. But maybe flavored crayons wouldn't be a good idea, i might be tempted to try them. i'll stick with the ones that smell nice.

I don't agree with this one, unless they are in the food area and happen to look like crayons.

i dont think that anything that should not be eaten be flavored. it will teach them that eating stuff like crayons is tasty.

No. That would encourage inappropriate behavior. Kids eat it and it's non-toxic, but they shouldn't eat writing implements.
