Europe's effects on Africa are quite interesting.
On one hand, Europeans helped to modernize many nations and create industries and jobs. Some people think Africa was better under European control...
However, Europeans are responsible for creating the modern borders of African nations. When they did this, many ethnic groups with different goals were placed in the SAME nation. This resulted in the civil wars that Africa is so famous for. If Africans had been able to create their own national boundaries, Africa actually would probably have much less wars, and be more successful today!

european colonization has had both positive and negative effects. on a good side it brought us a new form of religion- christianity which is free from brainwashing and manipulations. superstition is at its lowest and so we can now deal with real issues in a real way. formal education has widened our span for survival. on a negative side it has led to breakdown in our family systems. people now care only about their extended families. it's also created an artificial environment rather than the natural ways we were used to. but in general, its than more good than harm
