it's totally taking over everything and it spreads like wild fire. it has already taken over two of my plants and keeps on coming back.

If I were you I'd sell it or package it up and give as gifts. Then make sure you've pulled it all up by the roots so it doesn't grow back.

STOP! I'll send you my address so you can harvest it for me. I agree with a previous answer - harvest it and create spice jars for gift giving. Then pull up the roots. Since you have other plants in the area I'd be careful about what you spray to kill it - ask at a local store where they sell plants about what is safest.

Hello

If your looking to kill of the plant you can use several items.
1) Any non-selective herbicide containing glyphosate and isopropylmine salts. (Total vegetation killers) make sure it doesn't get on any plants you want to survive.

2) Use a mix of high concentrated table salt, vinegar, water, and lemon/lime juice. This will burn the plant out but not kill it down to the root.

How about setting an Italian chef loose on it?

A good dose of Mario Batali should do the trick.
