Rabbits DO NOT get a period.

Rabbits go into a "heat." you most likely wont know it, the only sign is if you press on her back she lifts her butt up and "presents." At this time she is ovulating and can be fertilized.

The person who told you this was pulling your chain, lieing, or just strait up dumb.

No not every female mammal in the world get a period. Only humans. Horses do not, dogs do not, cats do not. They have different cycles and even though dogs bleed it is not a period like us human females get.

No they don't. Rabbits are induced ovulators, so the eggs are released when they mate. While there can be times when they are more receive, they can get pregnant are just about any time. It is very important to not keep intact females with intact males unless you want them to breed, even having them together for 10 seconds and them mating can mean a pregnancy.

Animals lick themselves clean all the time and she probably has a very small amount of bloody discharge. I wouldn't think anything is wrong with the bunny. If you were trying to breed her are you sure you have both species, 1 male 1 female?
My niece had a cat one time they called Max, well Max had 7 kittens one day. It was quite a shock to her. So just be patient sometimes for one reason or another some animals can not get pregnant just like humans. Good Luck to you.

rabbits are sexually mature very early, but don't drop any eggs unless there is a male trying to mate with them. This is called induced ovulation. So no, she won't have a period, but you should still get her spayed.

No, they don't go into "heat" as some other animals do. They are always ready for breeding once they reach adulthood. That's where the saying "breeding like rabbits" comes from!
