For me it's the tired " gimme the gun" bit. You KNOW the person being asked to give it up is always going to.

The "friends" who are subconsciously attracted to each other then become a romantic couple a few seasons in. It almost always ruin a show. (SCRUBS, one of my favorite shows, is doing it again. MAKE IT STOP!)

I hate shows where some girl who's "just friends" with the male main character is secretly in love with him and never tells, and the show can go the whole series and she never tells him. I understand building up the sexual tension to boost ratings, but if you are going to have a secret crush, that person had better act on it eventually or it just gets irrelevent.

Yes the put the gun down and the one where they say you really don't want to do this...

I don't think they are really cliches, but these are getting nerve wracking too..."Can you hear me now" and "so easy even a caveman can do it"

I'm SOOOOO tired of the clueless husband/father. I sometimes think it encourages that kind of behavior in the real world.

It's the bit where they are holed up with a mad gunman and they say, "I DON'T WANT TO DIE", as if they think that it will never happen to them. Of course no-one dies...

Eh, I've seen them shot themselves just as often.

I'm sick of sitcoms with fat men and hot women...why not the other way round?
