I'm a conservative.
A true conservative, not a neo-con.
I believe in the Constitution and according to the Constitution, the President is the Commander in Chief.
Bush has abdicated if he wants someone to do his job FOR him.
On the other hand, it may be best for America. He hasn't been doing his job well at all!

Because NO ONE can do every job. Do you do every job at the place you work?? Does your place of employment have Department Heads or is the one in charge the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer, Vice-President of Research and Development, and the Chief of Security.... Unless there is less than 20 employees, it is highly doubtful....

You're right that there are already existing positions with the responsibility and authority to manage our wars - that's probably why there's been such ridicule of this new position, and why so many who were approached for the position turned it down.
