Been working this job for a couple of months. When I started, I was told that I could be full/part-time. Chose fulltime. Work was only available 3 to 4 days out of the week plus e/o weekend. Then suddenly I could only get work 2 days out of the week. Went to the scheduler and was told that this was all that was available. There were even two occassions when I showed up scheduled for work and had to leave because, I was not on the list. Clearly this job has issues. So, I decided to switch to weekends, because I knew help was needed then . Scheduler reluctantly switched my schedule. Now all of a sudden, I am told by management after working this new schedule that I will no longer be able to do this and that I must go back to full time availability (on-call). Meanwhile, I am scheduled to work this weekend. However, I don't like the way that I have been handled and I intend to quit. Question is, for RESUMES sake would you quit ASAP or finish by working your scheduled weekend?

Just put in your two weeks and work it thru to the end. Do your best and there obligated to give you a good reference. You'll just have to explain why you left so quickly, but you've got a good reason. But always honor your part even if they don't..... that makes great RESUME's
