ok - to the people who are pointing out how "extreme" Al Qaeda is compared to American social conservatives...
I respect that difference but you have to admit that it is exactly where we would be without some liberals to balance you guys out...

Animeyhem and rukidding both got a thumbs up from me for a good argument even though I do not agree...
I still think Al Qaeda is like looking into the future of American Social Conservatives...
You can see shreds of it just in these answers if you look closely.

They both do not want to share the power, Thats because they BOTH also consider themselves the ONLY class of the Elite-born, Hand picked and selected by some form of Divine Sanctions. "Aryans" if the term fits... oh wait, that would put them into the same catergory as Hitler and his gang of happy Nazis, wouldnt it?. Of your 10 points, Hitler also has a few similar beliefs to them.
Then again Aryan Hitler had the brains to co-op with the Japs and really DID almost take over the world!
Maybe the fact that they HATE each other so much, and refuse to "share" the playground isn't such a bad thing after all, then again... the rest of us might still suffer as collateral damage. Eeek

Sheesh...
You know, I am probably about to waste about two minutes of my life on someone whose brain is atrophying at an astounding rate, but I can't ignore your ignorance. I am a conservative Christian, so here goes. These are the differences (and yes, there are some things we might agree on).
1) Abortion is murder. You call it a choice. We are never EVER going to compromise on that.
2) We do NOT work to prevent the election of women. Let Kay Bailey Hutchinson or Condi Rice run. They'll have my vote. I will vote against anyone with the beliefs of a Hillary Clinton or a Nancy Pelosi or a Harry Reid or a Chuckie Schumer.
3) Homosexuality is a sin not a lifestyle choice. Sorry, God said it, I didn't.
4) No, environmenatlists are not devil worshippers...they are pantheists and they are also clueless.
5) Extensive government funding? Are you talking about the loans I got for college which I am still paying back with interest??? If not...I haven't gotten any funding for anything.
6) Extensive oil funding? Sorry...it didn't come down my gravy train.
7) Well, when laws are passed (as I am sure they some day will be) that says we can't preach that God does not like sin (like homosexuality, fornication, lying, etc.) then yeah I am against so-called "hate crime" laws.
8) There is a reason a sin-filled world and a sinning people suffer. Kick God out of the schools and out of public discourse, then blame him for the evil that happens. Good old human nature.
9) Why should a flawed theory be taught?
10) Military funding paramount to education? I don't even understand that. We believe in a strong defense, true. But please tell me how many children the multi-billion dollar budgeted Department of Education educated last year?

How could you possibly think that?
1. I don't approve of abortion but I AM pro-choice. There aren't too many out there that are pro-abortion, conservative or liberal.
2. How do you even get that conservatives are working against females becoming leaders. Sure, we're working against Hillary, but not ALL females. I'd vote for Condi Rice without hesitation. (But she doesn't count in any of this, does she?)
3. I don't condemn homosexuality. I don't think it's normal, but I don't condemn it. I'm also leaning toward the OK for gay marriage.
4. That's just stupid.
5.And what? The Democrats and/or liberals don't get funding from the US? How about those millions used to fund the ACLU?
6. How about the extensive investments in oil companies that Kennedy, Kerry, Pelosi, Clintons, and let's not forget Al Gore making his money in Occidental Petroleum? That's not oil? That's not making money from oil?
7. I don't even know what you're talking about here.
8. Oh really? And you libs haven't blame Katrina on Bush?
9. I am a Christian evolutionist. I don't think Creationism is any more than a story to explain how a primitive people got on earth. I think the term "Intelligent Design" is just another way of making it sound scientific when it is not. It's religion and/or literature
10. I don't think military funding should be more important than funding education. You can't throw money at the education problems we have now. Are you a teacher? I am. I know a bit more about that, and apparently a lot of things, than you do.
You forgot to mention that Al Qaeda is out to kill everyone and anyone who disagrees with them. How does that fit with your conservative nonsense hmmmm?
Sorry, but after your huge insult, I'm not giving you an inch!

the Europeans like Obama through fact he's black and a liberal. this is all. they have a conceited experience of superiority over united statesa.. think of approximately this: whilst will France choose an Arab president? whilst will Britain choose a Pakistani or Jamaican PM? they gained't. yet they label united statesa. "racist." this is why the Euro love for Obama bugs me.

Lets see...
1. Al Qaeda condones the stoning of women for the crime of showing their face in public.
2. Al Qaeda wants to kill everyone that does not believe exactly the same way they do; even other Muslims. That includes you.
3. Al Qaeda trains children to blow themselves up in markets and restaurants filled with people so that they will go to heaven.
Sorry, I don't think social conservatives will be getting together with Al Qaeda anytime soon...

Social conservatives aren't lopping off "infidel's" heads from their shoulders. I'd say that is a very big difference between them and Al Qaida.
Come to think of it, I do recall an account where a group of social conservatives buried people to their necks and then stoned their heads to death. ----Oh! Nope. That was Islam again. Sorry. I thought I would be able to find some common ground with you, but I can't.

A good question. This sort of thinking comes from what is preached, not from questioning someone else's teachings and opinions. To educate oneself seems to be too difficult and time-consuming for many who would rather swallow what they're fed.

Since the DNC news releases and those from Al Qaeda are often nearly indistinguishable, your entire premise is absurd. Your arguments are absurd and mostly without any merit even without that comparison.
