LOL .
You have discovered the world of Vista.
80 % of the hardware especially sound cards , video cards and networking stuff is obsolete and has no drivers

I am enclosing as well the Linksys UK Vista driver chart.
A black joke - all that is listed primarily are the new n cards and a raft of routers ( which do not need any drivers at all)
A sad joke.

If a driver is developed for your Linksys g card remember that each card has multiple diffierent versions ( listed as v on the back i.e wwwww v.2.1
You have to get a driver for that specific version.
Looks like as if you want wireless with vista you will have to buy one of the few vista supported cards

- or buy the n card

Yet another reason to upgrade to microrosft vista

if you want a better operating system why not download Linux it out shines Vista, it puts it in the shade, and it will Find all your hardware

Linux is free... with all the software you will ever need, also free

Now that you have installed Vista you will need to upgrade all your other software to run under Vista,

you should have done your home work on Vista before you bought it,... there are more bugs in it than there are fire ants in a ant mound.

you could go to MS website and get the new updates, for vista

Maybe try using it in a different USB port or wobbeling it around a bit, sometimes this does help haha. I would look on the manufactaruers website for the latest drivers then install them, Good luck.
