Early in the show, Peter and Nathan's mother told Claire that Peter had the ability to survive the explosion because he had absorbed her power.

Claire was the only one who could get close enough to Peter when he went nuclear. He had told her to kill him before he exploded and killed everyone. The only reason she was pointing the gun at Nathan was because he flew in when she was struggling with the thought of killing Peter.

Sylar's body was gone at the end and there was a blood trail to an opened manhole.

When Sylar pushed Hiro backwards and he bent time, he ended up in Japan in the 1600's. If you saw the history they created, Hiro looked like the Japanese warrior that he idolized.

Also, the Walker girl told them that there was another person who was more evil than the boogeyman (Sylar) and when she thought of him he could see her.

I don't think Sylar is dead and I don't think Nathan and Peter are dead. All Nathan had to do was take Peter up in the atmosphere and then fly off in a different direction. Remember Peter can absorb powers, so he could fly too.

I don't think Peter or Nathan are dead. In case you didn't know Nathan can fly really far really fast so it is not such a stretch for him to have flown away before Peter blew up. It's been stated that Peter can survive being blown up, especially since in the episode "Five Years Past" he is shown alive and he says that he was the bomb. Claire almost killed Peter because he would kill all New York otherwise! I think she should have done it because all they would have to do is remove the bullet once they figured out how to stop him from blowing up and he would regenerate. I think (and really hope) that Sylar died. All you who say his body just disappeared, remember that the police would have probably moved the body and the company Linderman owned probably would have tried to get the body too. Hiro was teleported back in time.

We'll have to wait until next season to see if Peter and Nathan both died. If you saw one of the last scenes at the plaza, where they showed the manhole cover, you can make your own decision about whether Sylar is alive or not. Hiro is in Japan in 1670. The symbol the lone horseman was carrying is the same one that we've been seeing all season, so that storyline might explain the origin of all the heros.

okay here goes nope peter did not die cause he has the regeneration power . Nathan did not die because he flew away quick enough . No sylar is not dead he fell into the sewer like the rat he is . Hiro is now back in samarai period of japan around 1600. He I think will meet kensai (his hero) and learn some things from him . claire almost killed peter because peter asked her to cause he did not think he could control the bomb . It totally rocked last night .

That is a cliffhanger on Peter and Nathan...Peter wanted Clare to shoot him if he went nuclear...Hiro went back in time...to escape Sylar...who slid into the sewer at the end.
