Twitty City was an entertainment complex in Hendersonville, Tennessee. It was the home of singer Conway Twitty until his death. It was also famous for it lavish Christmas decorations. Since Twitty's death, its been converted into a Christian music venue owned by the Trinity Broadcasting Network.
I live in Nashville. It's Twitty City not Twitty Land. Twitty City is also a baseball club. I used to watch my brother play there with his summer league team.

Yes, I remember Twitty city in Nashville when I was there in 1992. I'm not sure Twitty Land was the name or it was in Nashville.
I don't know whats left there now.

I certainly remember him. I had my picture taken with him when he was doing a promotion tour for a recently released album. That was in the early 70's and he came to our local K-Mart in Aurora, Colorado. He was touring with Cal Smith.
He's voice will be recognized forever. That's why I like Jeff Bates so much. He reminds me of Conway.

He's one of my favorite country artists and I love his music. My mom is also a big fan of his and it was actually because of her that I started to love his music.
