i heard the space station is the third brightest.

It depends on how close you are to the objects. In terms of general brightness, white dwarfs are the dimmest, while supergiants are the brightest.

The Five Brightest things in the sky are these in order.

1 The Sun
2 The Moon
3 Venus
4 Jupiter
5 Sirrius (the brightest star in the sky other then the sun)

The brightest things in the sky are the following:
-Sun
-Moon
-Venus
-Jupiter
-Sirius

You should note that a comet or supernova can outshine venus, though to outshine the moon, there would have to be a very large comet or supernova, or very close passing asteroid.

the brightess thing in nthe sky or even in earth is the sun.Su n is the main source of energy and light which is related to the brightness.
