Would the conservatives stop twisting things up to make themselves look great?

First off.... when someone says why don't liberals and cons get along you say well those libs are over the top .... blah blah blah.Look at yourselves do you not realize you are doing the same thing? And right now I am going to bash cons... I do not deny that. Why do you cans blame us for problems that you created in the first place... such as the war in Iraq? Then you turn around and say.... Bush is a liberal... then why did you vote for him? You say we do not support the troops when we are the ones that want them home. Some of you not all but some also severely insult Liberals. You call us members of Al-queda, anti-american, dumb, lieberals and underacheivers. Yet you say boo hoo the liberals on here insult us so much. Why do liberals not want to help Iraqis.... do you think you have helped them.... in your war against terror? There is more violence than ever!Why do you twist things around to make yourselves look right... don't you see that you are missing most of the bigger picture?

It think... we should leave Iraq... now... it is so unnessecary to be there

99% of the American media is corporate controlled and extremely right wing. Isn't it great to hear a "fair and balanced" debate between the right and the extreme right

Corporations own the Republican Party and most of the Democratic Party....turning the Democrats to the right and the Republicans to the extreme right

There are perhaps 50 Congressmen/women who are not corporate owned right-wingers....the ignored Democrats (ignored by the corporate controlled Democratic Party and corporate controlled media)

The truth is....... The left is practically powerless in America today

The country has been controlled from the far right since 1980

The conservatives (both Democratic & Republican conservatives) have done a lousy job in almost every aspect of governing the country.....too busy helping their corporate masters prosper

The conservatives have destroyed our economy, our foreign policy, our freedoms, our rights, our Constitution

But the corporate media is so strong

And the conservatives are so...um...deluded

that they are still pushing the lie that "liberals ruined America"...with our "liberal media"....and our refusal to "support the troops" and our overall "liberalism-communism"


The biggest problem with America since 1980 is the corporate control of our government....creating an imbalance heavily in favor of the right.

Liberals returning to power will be the salvation of America...and the world

But to blame us for the conservative mess since 1980.........one must wonder if mind altering drugs are involved to maintain such beliefs

They are also missing that they have completely torn this country apart, from attacks on the constitution, to welfare for corporations, to cutting VA hospitals (currently treating 105,000 Iraqi vets, and have run up the largest deficit in the history of this nation($3 1/2 TRILLION), while they give tax-cuts to those who average income is between $800,000 and $2.4 MILLION a year!

Iraq had nothing to do with WMD's, terrorists or the attack on the trade center. They had nothing to do with any of them!

What they have done is attack a sovereign nation, killed thousands of her residents, and let a sectarian civil war get out of hand.

Even their own commanding General in Iraq says there is no military solution! Yet the body bags keep coming home daily!

You have made us the laughing stock of the world!

By the way, if BUSH is so AFRAID of Iran, why is he still selling them F-14 Tomcat parts? Isn't that a bit stupid?

I forgot, Reagan sold them weapons and aircraft parts as well, after they killed 242 Marines in a barracks blast in Beirut in 1983 (On Reagan's watch)!

You are right. people really give you (personally) a bad time when you state your opinions I have noticed. Republicans just can't stand the fact that people still refuse to bow down to George Bush. I just got reported for calling them wimps! REPORTED! To me that proves they are wimps. And afraid listen to anything we have to say because they can see at least nuggets of truth in it. It makes them mad because they are still trying to justify this guy. GB. I will never use the term President for him, since he won the election illegally. They just try to lay everything at the doorsteps of Liberal honest Americans, because otherwise they would HAVE to be ashamed of themselves for all the lies they tell to cover for this guy. I don't think conservative right wingers can admit when they are wrong. It's one of their weaknesses.

Most (both sides) people allow their politics to get in the way of their eyes. Dems blindly assert that pulling out of Iraq will bring peace when common sense says that the country will descend into absolute anarchy. Reps will say that things are going fine in Iraq and Dems are blowing it out of proportion. Both sides ignore things they don't like and try to spin information to favor them and discredit the other guy. (And I don't know who could call President Bush a liberal and keep a straight face).

My opinion is both sides need to shut the hell up and try to be constructive on things. We are all still Americans. Just a little cooperation would handle most of our issues. Instead both sides have to go on calling each other names and totally discounting the other's viewpoint.

Unfortunately, I must agree (with other Cons) that Libs do more insulting than Cons. (I'm not saying Cons don't insult, just see more insults coming from the left than the right) It seems that if you disagree with a Lib, you must be simple minded or stupid or whatever insult comes rapidly to mind.
