You use the traits from your Moon and Rising Sign on a daily basis, but I would say that you use your Ascendant(rising) sign characteristics more than your Moon sign.

You can't really 'use' your Moon sign traits-only let them influence you because they are in your subconscious mind. Rising sign traits are noticeable, seen by the public, and implemented daily-whereas your Moon sign(intuition), is not.

You will notice your Moon sign traits showing themselves when the Moon is passing through your own Sign. The traits and characteristics of your Moon sign will be more prominent on those days.

Definitely the moon... I have the moon in Pisces in opposition to my Virgo ascendant, and I'm waaaay more Piscean (at least internally). The ascendant affects how you automatically act, the way others see you... and the moon is more a representation of your inner life and how you feel about things.

But they're both extremely important, which is why certain astrological systems place more emphasis on the moon and/or ascendant than they place on the sun... it's a synthesis between sun/moon/ascendant, and I would say they're in that order in terms of importance

And your Moon sign as your heart

Then you could say that your rising sign is

Moon is your personal beliefs its how you deal with your emotions...............if you just got dumped for instance how you deal with it is your moon sign stepping in
