As a ginger bloke I regret to say that other people also have freckles. My wife is a brunette and has darker freckles than I.
No... if you are looking for a reason as to why Ginger people are superior to the run of the mill Homo Sapien you need go no further than the hair colour.
That is why those with muddy brown hair, dull black hair or common blond make fun of us Ginger nuts. Jealousy pure and simple! LOL!

Not an entirely true statement, but "ginger" people are more likely to have freckles (than not have freckles) because the genes for hair color and freckles are very close on the same chromosome, so when the chromosome is inherited there is a high chance that a red-haired gene will end up next to a freckle gene.

Ginger people? I don't know what that means but I have dark brown hair and fair skin... I do have freckles.. the longer I'm out in the sun the darker and more freckles I get...
So summertime my freckles are more noticable and theres more!

Right. Every one cna get freckles! But generally speaking teh fairer you are the more freckles you may get! generally speaking (although not spekaing for all) 'ginger' haired people have fairer skin hence genreally spekaing more freckles. however,,,, I know people wiht other colour hair with millions of freckles and also ginger people with not a singel freckle at all! but its usually cos the fairer the skin the possibility of more freckles

I don't have ginger hair it's light brown and I have freckles, my sister has black hair and she has freckles.
So it's not only ginger people who have them perhaps you notice them on ginger people more?

My daughter is white blonde with freckles, so i don't think it follows that only ginger have freckles

most people have freckles. it is just that ginger people are so pale that their freckles stand out loads more. i know coz my sister used to be ginger.

Thats bull. I have very very dark brown hair almost a black (highlighted with blonde at the moment) and Hazel eyes... with them damn freckles... I hated my freckles growing up... I cant lie I stil dont like them.... But I am getting used to them!
