No you are not legally married. As long as no one officiated the ceremony then there was no marriage.

No, you are not married. If the only thing you guys did was get the marriage license, then don't worry. The marriage license expires after 6 months, anyway. Then you have to re-apply before you can get married. It is just a legal form needed to get married. (And honestly, I don't even know why they are needed, lol) Congratulations on your up-coming wedding.

That is so mean. Who knew what you did to him that made him run with his tail between his legs. :) Don't you worry, at least you got yourself a wonderful prince charming to sooth your pain. But you do need to go back there (New Mexico), this is not a phone issue. You need to physically go back there to clear things up. You don't need to be scared of anything. It's not a crime to fall in love and want to marry your lover. Go on down there, if they recorded it as lawful marriage, by the time they know that he dumped you, they'll grant you a divorce. It might take a while though.

No, you are not married.
You will need to go to the justice of the peace.
After you say your vows, then you will get a
Marriage Certificate. On the certificate
you & husband name will be on it. Also the person
who performed the ceremony will be on it as well.
Then you will be officially Married.
Good Luck.

no, you aren't married- you have to go through the ceremony (either at a church or the courts) and then have it signed by the official...then file it with the state to be considered married. You never got that far.

No you aren't the license doesn't mean anything by itself if there was no ceremony, no legal witness and the paperwork was never done. Relax, you are in the clear.

Nope. You have to have it signed by an officiant, AND two witnesses, and file it with the County Clerk to be married.
Your good to go, Congrats!!
