In some states the marriage is finial after a number of days pass the day the court issues the divorce decree (30-90 days). However, the issue of the decree is considered the end of the marriage.

no, in a divorce, you have the option of having your maiden named restored as opposed to using the married name. You do not have to have it restored in order to marry again

Once you have the papers filed at the court house, you are legally divorced. It doesnt' matter what your last name is.

no you never have to change your last name, if you remarry you will change it to your new husbands name if you want. If you do want to go back to your madien name do it as a part of the divorce not later if you do it later you will have to pay for a name change as part of your divorce you do not

You can keep your married name, or can change it back to your name before getting married. Either way you can change it again if you get remarried.
