First of all is age a consideration for you? or are you just concerned about ability? Duncan is 31 and it usually takes a while to build a championship team. With that in mind I'd take Wade over Lebron, but only because Wade seems to make better decisions under pressure, at least for now.
However, if we step out of reality and assume they're all gonna play forever, my choice would be Duncan.
1. He's a big man, and its usually easier to build around a big man than a perimeter player.
2. He's dominant on both offense and defense. Wade and Lebron pretty much dominate on offense only.

Hes consistant. It took the spurs along time to build this team up though. Back when he jumped in playing with the admiral were his best days IMO....
I think i would rather wade, because the man is quick, can finish games, and can hit from anywhere on the court. He also is the man you want to have the ball in the final seconds of a close game, unlike duncan, with his poor freethrow percentage.

I would build around Lebron James. The man is only 23yrs old and is still not in his prime. As of this point in the season I would have to say he is the best all around player in the playoffs left. The man has incredible court vision, handles the ball like a point, developing the killer instinct in the playoffs, awesome athleticism, great size and makes players around him better. If management can give him a shooter like ray allen or paul pierce i think they would be the team to beat in the east.

Steve Nash would be the perfect player to build a franchise around for the simple fact that he makes everyone around him better more than anybody else in the NBA can. He can both pass and score extremely well, and is a complete offensive player. Add alot of talents like D-Wade & AI, you got yourself a couple o' rings, buddy.

Neither. Duncan is old, and Wade needs Shaq just like Kobe did. I'd build it around Lebron. He's young and can do it all by himself.

My choices :
Tim Duncan but I would also add a big man to the Warriors and I would definitely want Tayshaun Prince on my team. Duncan is consistently good every year.

I think I would build a team around Dwayne Wade. He is a good dunker, good shooter, amazing skills and he sees the court (meaning he really understands how to play and be good). If a team like the Boston Celtics need help, they should try getting Dwayne Wade and build a team around him. That is what i would do. Dwayne Wade is awesome!!!

If I would build around a player, that would be Kobe Bryant. But as for the position, I would like to have a dominant center or a dominating floor general. Kobe is irreplaceable. But if its position there are many players who can fill the sg spot and do well than having a dominant center or great floor general which is harder to have.

my top 5 choice are:
KOBE
Lebron
KG
Duncan
SHAQ
Kobe: because he is the closet thing to MJ. He can shoot, take over, drive in, post up, fade aways, make FTs, he can make adn take the last shot, he can score at will and on anyone. No1 in the league can stop him, he does not choke, he can score on double teams, triple teams, he can make the unthikable shots, he has a killer instict and he is the hardest working player in the league. He needs:
PG: some1 who is decent, can make good passes and make the open shot
C: some1 who can grab boards and make an open layup and an occasional block,
PF: a good PF, an all star, some1 who can score at will, plays good D, and can create and some1 who can set up others.
SF: some1 who is just a spot up shooter... all he needs to do is wait and wait and knock down that open shot.. 7/10 times
