Yes you can, just because you have one egg leaving your body does not mean that another one has not descended into your fallopian tubes. You can get pregnant on any day of your menstrual cycle, it's just that you are the most fertile usually on day 14, three days before and three days after.
(in case you didn't know, day 1 is the day your period starts)

actually, no. You have a period because the egg has not been fertilized and has died. There is no egg present to be fertilized once the blood flow starts.
