Yes, we can all get along, even if we have different opinions on matters. Right?

No, it's not possible for everyone to get along. There are so many differences in each of us, how we perceive things, our past experiences, our life expectations, where we currently are in our lives and minds, etc. Things we have been taught from our upbringing have a lot to do with the person we are today. Compromise is possible between willing participants, but to some, compromise is not a concept they can accept. Variety is the spice of life comes to mind and if everyone agreed on everything, what would there be to talk about? And there are many people who love to hate, love to argue, want to make everyone think like them, you'll never make them come around to your way of thinking if you gave them every reason in the world to change their minds.

There will be no true peace in this world during this lifetime. People are human and people are not perfect. When the one that is perfect calls us home, then we will experience true peace.

I'm not sure why you think the mass procurement of deep shafts that obtain water will make people relate to each other better, but anything's worth a shot!

I have to admit that I really do like to fight with trolls/anti-feminists sometimes, I cannot help it, because they are mostly misogynists and deserve it. But all in all I do use this Y/A W/S to actually hear what other people have to say about the state of gender relations and share my personal experiences or ideas.
I notice at times the feminists/trolls can have a little fun, but it has gotten totally out of hand lately with all the cloning, and now that my personal favorite troll is MIA...I must go back to being anti-troll as the rest are just no fun...

But we can't, and we don't want to. Too much of our society is based on torturing those different than us, and until we are a world of complete minorities, we will still fight. Not saying it as an excuse, but in human nature, those that are different than the majority are considered different, and there for WEAKER. So they are treated with condescension.

Unfortunately, we all cannot get along. There are to many differences and beliefs amongst us for that to happen. Perhaps it would be better if we could simply agree to disagree.
