Well a year ago I joined a forum, and everything was going well, until I decided to leave, because I could not stand the owner anymore. BUT before all that happened, I sumbitted my photo, for a fan book for the doodlebops. (kid show). Now, its been 6 months, and I have asked her nicely to take off my pic, even my PARENTS asked, and she has not done it. She even has my pic on her myspace! I want my pic off, what can I do? Any adivce out there. Should I take illegal action? Darn, I don't know anymore. :/

More than likely, when you submitted your picture, you also gave up control of that photo and your rights to it. Usually, by submitting something like that to a public site, you automatically give everyone permission to use it. Once your picture was posted, millions of people could have copied it off the site and used it for whatever.
I use my photo as my avatar on this site. By doing so, anyone can copy and use that picture and I have no say in the matter.
Face it... it's out of your control. Maybe the site owners like your smile. Don't fuss over it... just move on and consider it a lesson learned. You gave it to them... now they own it.

I have a friend who is a family attorney and she says you don't have to take legal action. Usually just the mention of legal action should be enough. Have your parents done that? If this happend to my child I would be going nuts. I would never allow this to happen. Document where your pictures are and you may have to retain legal counsel so they can be very specific about what to remove from what website. Don't take illegal actions but legal action..

Complain to the site owners, to myspace and you could also report this to the police, it is illegal for her to use any photo of you without your permission.

I would alert my space that someone is using your photo without your permision. they will ban her or take it off
