In adults red marrow is found in the hollow part of the bone and it produces new blood cells. Red blood cells, platelets and most white blood cells arise in red bone marrow.
red marrow is found mostly in flat bones like the ribs, shoulder blades and hip.
hope this helps.

Red blood marrow is in the interior part of your bone. Pretty much it produces new blood cells so that your old ones that die can be replenished. Because when blood cells die they get eaten by lysosomes and you need new ones. Also White blood cells and platelets.
