i'm sure there is a genetic basis for all parts of a person's makeup be it physical or personality. but considering that environment also impacts personality and considering that we dont really know whether one impacts more than the other it isnt really possible to say if this part of personality is genetic or environmentally created.

It doesnt necessarily mean that its genetic. It could depend on things that may have happened to you to make you that way.

I don't know if there is any solid scientific proof. However, I believe there is a genetic predisposition to it and it can be enhanced or altered by one's experiences.
