And oh, it hurts every time you have to stop at the pump.
Why can't we do just a little drilling in ANWR? Most of the people I've talked to in Alaska are in favor of it, and my understanding is that it would involve only a minuscule portion of the land and not cause the damage that some people have tried to claim.
And yes, please, let Anna Nicole go!

High demand for gas supplies put the laws of supply and demand into effect. High prices result.
That LAW cannot be altered.
It is a fact of life.
The demand comes from China and India where your jobs have gone. They want cars and have no restrictions on pollution. They have no oil. They consume but do not supply.
They will destroy the environment far more rapidly than the relatively more responsible citizens of the U.S. AND there are BILLIONS of them!

I have gone back to riding my bike as much as possible. I was getting a little chunky anyway and 2 hours at the gym wasn't taking enough off.

Yes. We live in a country based on business. If demand is there than raise prices. How much would gas have to go up before you stop buying it for good?

I really don't understand the Gas Price Problem. Rush says that it isn't Oil Companies fault, but it is Congresses fault, as well as Environmentalists.
I know that he has a valid point, but I also see the huge profit they make with Gas Prices so high. I am torn !

Where does it say that cheap fuel is a inalienable right? Where does it say that congress should run and control private business? I mean only socialist countries control the means of production and as today we are still a republic, not a commie state.

Keep buying hondas and toyotas and it will continue to climb the oil companys are going to make a profit and your going to pay the same amount or more everyweek.
