yeah what i mean is i am applying for MM4 and just want to know the answer to it and if i get the job they will pay me to go to school to get lenice and yeah i know it have to be contained and not let it out to the air

they make electronic leak dectors you con buy they also have dye you add too the line that will make the leak visiable. but the main thing is you can't buy the freon without a licence in a lot of states. also any freon that you remove must be contained.

Only one step. Call a licenced AC tech. It is against the law to sell an unlicensed person freon. You would also need some very expensive tools to do the work.
