I think the most famous alternative is that of Sir Fred Hoyle, known as the steady state theory.
If I remember correctly, the idea was that the universe has always existed and will always exist, with new matter being created somehow to keep the density of the universe constant.
I don't think this theory has many proponents any more. Sir Hoyle came up with the idea long ago - in the 50s, I believe - and a lot of strong evidence has accumulated since then that supports the big bang theory thoroughly.
Interestingly, Sir Hoyle was the one who coined the term "big bang" and he meant it to make fun of the idea that the universe started with an 'explosion' from a singularity. Unfortunately, perhaps, for him, the name was so catchy that it stuck!

The really big one was Fred Hoyle's Steady State theory, which stated that the Universe was not expanding and had always existed in its current form.
Even Hoyle stopped believing that.
When he died, he was still espousing the Modified Steady State theory. This says that the Universe is expanding, but that somewhere in its heart there is a region where matter is constantly being created.
I've NO clue why he couldn't come to terms with the concept of the Big Bang.
In fact, it was Fred Hoyle who named the concept of the Universe being born from a singularity the "Big Bang Theory." He meant it to be derogatory.

The four leaf clover theory which requires the existence of some things that have yet to be discovered, such as negative energy, negative time, and negative gravity! But if correct it can explain how something can come into existence from nothing!

oscillating universe. The galaxies will stop expanding and will contract back into another cosmic egg for another big bang.

CREATION. It is not only a theory, but what actually happened. God created the heavens and the Earth. All He did was speak, but if He chose to use a big boom i'm sure He could have.

There aren't any that have any science or evidence to back them up, but here's a little bit of information you might find interesting:
