Lay eggs regularly and they do no stink as bad. You can eat them but usually only broilers have the good meat.
Turkeys stink real real bad and they like never lay eggs. and they are just useless unless your want the turkey meat.

Domestic roosters and hens can mate. Because of the oversize breast on tom turkeys, they can't mate with the hens, and to breed, the hens must be artifically inseminated.
