There is little or no comparison between to two events. Israel is only defending itself from bombers and terrorists!. If the Palestinians lived quiet lives and went about their business and stopped trying to eradicate Israel from the map. Then Israel wouldn't have any need to kill Palestinians... Well the Israelis have yet to build gas chambers and begin ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians. If there is a similarity between the two (and I doubt it) it is probably of the order of Hitler's restrictions on Jews immediately after he came to power in 1933.

Hitler wanted at to "cleanse" his society. (BTW, Hitler was a drug induced nut-job. Son of Satan in the flesh.) If they Islamists were to merely pray to Mecca on the West Bank and in the Palestian controlled areas there would be no turmoil. However, they are unsatisfied with thier plot due to losing the war with the Israeli's. Perhaps, we should have them give it back. If we do that, then we should also, give the western 1/3 of the US back to Mexico, who in turn would give it back to Spain. While we're at it, we sould give the east coast back to England. However, we get to keep the area in the Lousiana Purchase and Alaska....we bought that fair and square.

There is no similarity at all. Hitler murdered 6,000,000 Jews just because they were Jews. The Jews did nothing to instigate such treatment. Israel are not murdering Arabs ("Palestinian" is a made up word, there are no such people), they are only defending themselves from Arab attacks. Sometimes non combatants are killed because they serve willingly or unwillingly as human shields. There is no "cleansing", the Arab populations have grown at an incredible rate.

Only someone with a deep pathological hatred of Jews would fail to see this.

No. Even if the Israelis were to do the *exact same things* as Hitler, the two were still be incomparable because of their differing goals: Israel wants territory, and wants to be free of Palestinian reprisal; Hitler wanted to eliminate a race. Remember, Hitler imported Jewish people -- Israelis, given a choice, would do the opposite with Palestinians.

The world condemned Hitlers actions, yet the plight of the Palestinians is ignored. I even know Jews who will not go to Israel as they do not agree with the way Palestinians are treated , though they make the comparison with Apartheid rather than the holocaust!

I believe I understand where you are coming from, however one can not compare the two situations. Contemptible as their actions are, the Israeli government and establishment can not be compared to those of the Nazis under Hitler.
