Open the hood. See if you can get your hand in where the wires go to the headlight assembly. Read the instructions in the web link below. Try not to touch the main glass envelope of the bulb because the instructions on the box say it can shorten the bulb's life.

The left (driver's side) should be easier to get to. The right (passenger's side) requires that your remove the battery and possibly the coolant reservoir to get to the bulb.

On that year car the bulb is held in by a circular retaining ring that turns. you'll need to first remove the connector from the old light bulb. You may have to use a flat tipped screwdriver to work the connector off while holding in the lock tab. After a few years those connectors feel like they're welded on but they are just weathertight connectors.

Once you have worked the connector off of the bulb, turn the outer lock rihg counter-clockwise (to the left). When the ring stops after about 1/4 turn you can pull the bulb straight out (toward the engine).

don't touch the glass on the new bulb--just hold it by the plastic housing. Push the new bulb into the housing in the same way that it was before you removed the old one. Then hold the bulb in there while you turn the retaining ring clockwise (to the right) to lock the bulb in place. Then connect the connector and if you removed it, replace the battery and coolant reservoir.

check to see that the new light works!

hope that answers your question

Last Saturday, I was at the local auto parts store. A woman walked in and wanted replacement antennae. She was pretty and wearing a mini skirt. So the guy starts helping her to find the right replacement parts.

Eventually he even went out to her car and put it in for her. All she ever paid for was the parts, not the service.
