assuming when you speak of the girl in "baghdad", neither of you are 'england' speakers. assuming also you are from either an 'Arabic' or 'Mid-Eastern culture, I would say there in lies your answer.
You may be liberated but she's not. She seems to believe in Destiny within the boundaries of her culture.

Maybe if you tried asking the question in English rather than what you THINK is English you'd get a better response, your questions make no sense.
