if my boiler fuel marker is on empty and i turn it on ,will it blow up?

lately i've been doing this and still get hot water. should i stop doing this. or continue until there is no more hot water.

You didn't say what type of fuel you are using. It will not blow up but if you keep using it, you will need to purge the lines out when it finally quits working. You are using the last of the fuel and will get air in the fuel lines. Purging the system is not a fun job, especially if you have fuel filters.
