94 couger lower balljoint right side. book calls for removal and install useing a press but i can't get to one,i did get it off

yes i know i can get one at autozone but it is not free you must pay 107.32 to get the tool but if i had that kinda money i could pay someone to do it

its basicly a c clamp get one and somethig bigger than the ball joint

Bottle jack and a large metal frame--fabricated. Heat the arm socket area with a Mapp gas torch and freeze the joint stud in dry ice may be an option. Heat expands and cold contracts.

Go to auto Zone, they have a screw c shaped press that should work just fine. It also has numerous adapters for different size joints. Rental...Free!!
