I have pain so bad in my right hip, going across my lower back that I can barely get up after I sit down. It feels like my right hip is going to collapse. anyways does this happen to women who are this far along and anyway to help ease the pain?

I had the same problem as you. The doctor said the baby was leaning on my tailbone.

Be careful. Be very careful. You can destroy your back and hips for life if you don't STAY OFF YOUR FEET as much as possible from now until delivery.

If you can, get a recumbent bicycle or recumbent stationary bike and exercise in that position. It will help relieve your pain and take the pressure off that hip.

I repeat; stay home, stay off your feet. The pregnancy will be over within 4-5 weeks, but you will need your lower back, hips and legs for the rest of your life!

I had this too. Do you have a workout ball? If not you might want to get one. Roll on it and sit on it and do circles. You may also want to try and get a pregnancy massage. Also sometimes walking will help if you can power through the initial pain. You only have a month left. Also ask your doctor if you can take something for the pain.

Yea your added weight gain is putting pressure on your scatic nerve or however you spell it LOL it does go away. Its very painful i know! try a hot water bottle, and i tried a chiropractor and they did wonders for me!!! try rocking on your hands and knees to get baby to move a little. That will help as well.
