As a married guy, I love to be faithful to my wife with my body, my emotions and my soul.

I realize I'm only made of flesh and blood. And the struggle with how women display themselves, wih revealing fashions, causes great pain for me at times. I don't like having to go to a meeting or running out to the store for supplies and there is some woman who has pimped herself up to show herself off.

Looking away doesn't eliminate the seed of the feelings her appearance has deposited within.....prevention of the feelings is better than having to deal with the messy emotions being tempted causes.

Why do so many women insist on displaying themselves excessively in their clothing choices (skimpy, short, revealing) and how can an honest flesh-and-blood man exist in the real world and avoid being stimulated in any way except by the one he is bonded with?

You definitely need to read the book: Theology of the Body - For Beginners. If you read that, and maybe some of the other stuff this guy writes, you will be freed from your dilema. Here's the website.

so.. you feel guilty about looking at women and finding them attractive? if you aren't secure enough to admit that there are attractive women in the world then you need to work on that.. just being honest. Women are like works of art.. and there are many different types of beauty and many women in each type.. appreciating that beauty in a respectful manner is ok, there is nothing wrong with that.. a look (don't undress them with your eyes.. that's a bit rude) a nod, a light smile.. these things are ok.. and they aren't cheating... it's like going to an art gallery.. you can appreciate all the art in the room.. but you will still be going home to your favorite piece.
