I am a liberal capitalist
got stuck in the 60's for a long time, went country for a few years and now I am exposing myself to new stuff, austin city limits, KBCO Studio C, Bonaroo Festival, new alternative or adult alternative, and we love it.
we live on a boat part of the year, and there is NO TV, so we listen to music at least three or four hours a day, have about 8,000 songs on the computer so we are always looking for something more.
we still listen to jazz, blues, reggae and some pop, but there are a ton of really good new artists out there, like Beth Orton, or John Mayer who we will really like.
Gravity, is bringing me down.

I listen to a lot of different music, such as classical, and currently my Nephew is in a Broadway play (Spring Awakening, nominated for 11 Tony awards) so I have been listening to the soundtrack. However, my favorite is currently Dragon Force, I listen to them everyday, I am a Democrat.

I'm an independent who leans to the right and I like almost everything except rap and hip-hop. If I had to narrow it down to a "favorite," I would say that I'm particular to Baroque music, especially Bach organ pieces in minor keys. It's a little constraining to have one "favorite" musically, though. Mixing it up a bit can be a lot of fun.

I am a democrat, but I do not believe there is a real difference between the music that my party and my republican friends listen to.
I'm into classical rock, some new rock, and orchestral music.

My favourite type of music is probably folk metal, or just metal in general. I like other styles and genres though, such as some alternative (They Might Be Giants) folk, and futurepop.
I'm an independent (at least as far as voter registration goes).

The mp3s in my computer run the whole gammut. Everything from Insane Clown Posse to country gospel, Frank and Dean to Hank and Merle. Or, as I like to say, I only listen to one kind of music, good.
Now, guess which party I belong to.
